Grates and burners should be free of grease and non tacky to the touch. Let the rag sit for 15 minutes before you use it to wipe down the stovetop. If you don t have any ceramic cleaners you can easily lift minor stains with a paste of baking soda and water. Then soak a rag in hot soapy water wring it out and lay it over the baking soda.

Clean it every day if you wipe it up each day after you re done cooking it will be a lot quicker like 30 seconds rather than spending 5 minutes doing a big clean up.
